Anyone familiar with these guitars ?   Sadowsky make great instruments. Perfection. I'll have to play it to be sure.  But, it is made out of 5-ply maple laminate.  While I know that's good for feedback control, it is certainly different than carved spruce top and maple back and sides.   If I knew it really sounded and felt great I'd go for the higher cost, but The Eastman's look very good on paper.  I've always wanted a quality archtop.  Benedetto is out of the question. I know there are many other choices  i.e Heritage, Gibson and maybe even the Ibanez.  but I've narrowed it down to these two.  Eastman or Sadowsky.   What's the consensus here ?

Never have played that Sadowsky...but I've got an Eastman 810ce and it is every bit the real deal. Superb craftsmanship. Wonderful instrument. They occasionally pop up on EBay at very attractive prices.

EDIT.......

Just went and had a look at the Sadowsky. Wowsers!! That's one beautiful arch top. And coming from them you know it's top notch. But pretty pricey too. More than twice the Eastman. How can you lose?? :-)
