Yours truly, my lad and SidStrummerUK will be headbanging in the moshpit watching from a comfortable distance in Wolverhampton Civic Hall tomorrow evening

I'm sorry to hear that you have to go to Wolverhampton old boy, but I guess it will be worth it as you'll never get the chance to see this last ever tour ever again.................well not until the next one anyway.

I hope they sound better than they did on that recent documentary..great with John 'Rhino' Edwards etc but pretty ropey when Lancaster & Coghlan joined in.

I suppose it's more a nostalgia thing mate. But then again, I'm not a big fan of much anything they released after Rockin' All Over The World, so I'm going as much for the material they'll play as for anything.

I saw them in 2007 and, although they were quite excellent, I didn't even know a lot of the stuff they played. The only real nod to the original 'Frantic Four' era was a rather pitiful medley they played of songs like Little Lady, Don't Waste My Time and Big Fat Mama. Why they don't play gems like these in full yet they do with abortions like The Wanderer is beyond me I'm afraid

Thanks Jan

I bought my lad a ticket for his 17th birthday, and this is his first 'proper' concert. It'll be really cool to share that experience with him.

James, I forgot to mention that I am a little pissed off. You remember I mentioned to you that Wilko Johnson was listed as one of the support acts - well, apparently that's only the case in the various 'extra' dates Quo have added due to demand.

I got our tickets for tomorrow's show long before they announced an extra date at Wolverhampton (April 10th), so it would appear I won't get to see Wilko after all

Rather annoying that

That's a great shame, I'd love to see Wilko just once more. He's hanging on in there eh?

Yep, love the early stuff from 'Piledriver', 'Ma Kelly's Greasy Spoon' 'Dog of Two Heads' etc. 'Mystery Song' is probably my favorite still, great stuff.

I did buy 'Heavy Traffic' a few years ago tho, and was pleasantly surprised.

Have fun Steve!  Hopefully any Traffic you run into on the trip isn't bad.
