Cclary, I responded to someone a few years back about how to get the Gigapiano installed. If you search this forum for that topic you should find the thread. It has been so long since I used it I don't even remember how I did it. I think you had to click on the  Gigapiano icon and use administrator. And there may have been a visit to the Compatability window as well. I think it set to run as Windows XP. Not sure. Of course, that was the install for Windows 7. No idea about 8.

I did all that in 8.1 and it still crashed and burned...no matter what I tried...
But, it was free, so no loss...LOL

I updated to GVI right before they trashed it.  It's 32 bit and that piano you're talking about is not very good.
