Fleetwood Mac is touring the US and Canada this year with Christine McVie for the first time in 12 years. It is the Rumors line-up. I think it should be good. I am not much of a Nicks Buckingham fan but am a huge Christine fan. I hope they will do some of the pre Rumors songs that she sang on. Maybe some tunes from Bare Trees, Mystery To Me... but even though Bob Welch is now dead I don't know if they are reconciled enough with him to do any of his tunes like Sentimental Lady... but I hope so.
So if you're a fan... head's up. http://www.fleetwoodmac.com/splash

Excellent news. I'm sure it will be a great show. They used to be a superb live band.

I'm not sure I want to pay big bucks to hear Rumours again, though. Even after all this time I'm still tired of it. Hopefully, they'll be dusting off some of the older material.

I checked last night and the "best seats" option for the AMEX presale was over 400 bucks for two seats in the back of the arena in ATL. I couldn't bring myself to hit "buy". Fleetwood and McVie are one of my all time favorite drum and bass pairs. They can lay down a groove like few others. I still may jump but I'll probably wait and take a chance. I'd like to see a set list or two after September. I'd like to go but I don't want to pay that much...

Let's see... $400 (plus parking and libations) to buy two tickets for the hope that some aging musicians can perform up to the standards I hear in my head, or more gear for me to use...  Decisions, decisions...
