I've got all of the xlnaudio info. My question is...AD1 adpaks are still on sale until the end of the year (if I understand correctly) and xln will continue to support AD1 for now. So I buy the AD2 upgrade and all of my two adpaks get a free upgrade. Then I get a sweet deal at KVR for AD1 adpaks. Will those get a free AD2 upgrade when they are installed, or will they only work in AD1. This isn't a complaint, it's an honest question. I'm still considering adding a few things to AD1 and it may be better to wait on the AD2 upgrade until I have everything. I've already been seeing an increase in AD1 products over at KVR. I bet the "Fairfax kit will come with AD2 and that will be the only upgrade path. I'm waiting (not that I have a choice) for more info from xln.

That's actually a good question...

I would be of the assumption (bad word) that, since you already PAID the upgrade price that they
would get updated as well...but that's that making a A out of U and Me thing...

Any ideas guys?

Trying to update on the XLN Online installer and am met by this message

Cannot Install
The 64bit and 32bit paths are equal
Click on the advanced button to change this, then try again.

What dos it want to me to change?

I use 32bit, having ever selected 64bit, when I look in the advanced tab, the current installation path is
C:\Programme Files\XLN Audio\Addictive Drum\

I have went with a default install a month ago and haven't touched a thing.

Look at the paths for the 32 bit and 64 VST's....if they are the same that is
what it doesn't like...it doesn't want them installed in the same folder.

BTW...the Online Installer is down this morning...

Where do I see those paths though. From my screen dumps you can see that it just says
C:\Programme Files\XLN Audio
If I look further, they don't have a file for either 64 or 32, just Addictive drums.

Scoot,

there are "tabs" at the top that says VST 32 bit path...and VST 64 bit path...
THAT is where they probably are looking....

OK, I had completely missed the opaque tabs, and my screen dump unwittingly had them covered with a mini explorer menu. I only have a 32 bit tab, no 64bit, so how does this conflict. Thanks for the help by the way.

Did you opt just to install the 32 bit version?

I can't really remember, but I may have as my Windows is only 32bit. iF presented with a choice I probably went with 32bit to avoid a conflict. A bit ironic really

I have intended on going 64, but not on this machine, so no need to install 64bit plugs on it.
