I believe I also them on another show back then where they played a 3 song set live, and they are all multi-instrumentalists (IIRC).

I've always considered "Lies" to be an example of the perfect pop song. Not a wasted note, every phrase goes somewhere. And for decades I thought they were British, because they so nailed the mid-60s Brit-pop sound. But they were from New Jersey.

Great song!
The vocal is obviously using the new ADT from Waves! Seriously though, I love the way guitars sounded back in the sixties. "She said, She said" is one of my all time favorite Beatles songs for that reason.
