Otherwise the test is null and void.Yup. And that's what makes comparisons a bit pointless - though certainly interesting - since the channel eq and compression as well as the rest of the goodies built into MixBus are the major selling factor. IMHO, the thing that really matters is, admitting that you have access to all the same 3rd party tools in both, in which environment do you get the best results...
