Rain if you're really interested in geniuses this is probably the wrong place to be.

  well played sir

Da Vinci is beyond great in my book
a lot of people don't realize how deep and ahead of the times he was
saying his military inventions were pretty profound would be an understatement …tanks , turrets , subs, …..
if I'm not mistaken I think he even invented the bicycle chain  ...

Cool... I LOVE tanks! I am watching a show about tank battles right now. The Canadians vs Kurt Maier and the 12th SS Panzers.

Driving a Panzer and possibly firing one is on my bucket list... need to keep buying those lottery tickets!

I think we have a lot of intelligent non geniuses. Who knows ? Maybe we have some overly intelligent here and no one knows.

So the question is... do the overly intelligent ones know who they are if "no one knows"?! Hmmm. This could be thee conundrum of conundrums.

I'd love to see that exhibit Rain.  Da Vinci was truly a genius.

and yes, I agree, Tim, Tesla was also.

It is at the top of my must-see list for anyone visiting to Vegas. The fact that it's interactive, that you can touch the machines and try them to see how they work only adds to the amazement.

If ever you come to France go see the Da Vinci chateau where he lived at Amboise. They have recreated some of his master pieces and they are frankly stunning.

King Francois 1er was his patron, brought him over from Italy and who, incidently, was born in the city where i reside ....

Cheers,
Jerry

I'll definitely keep that in mind. I think it's not so much a matter of if as it is a matter of when. My wife has been there on tour a few times and insists that we must go together.
