Have been messing around with EZD2 this morning and am getting fairly consistent crashes when switching to "multi-channel" or when trying to assign channels to EZs mixer outputs.  So far every dang time.  Anyone else seeing this??
 
Plus when I put EZD2 in multichannel mode I get a pronounced zittzzing/distortion on the tail of every drum hit. 
 
So far, cannot use multichannel outs at all.

I have been just using the 1st stereo pair out at this point...but started routing to check this out too.  Actually no problems.
 
I did try a .wav export though and it didn't work...so I tried a .midi export and that worked.  Also having Toontrack solo open AND Sonar X3e, didn't seem to work together as well.   But these instance are too early to call.
 
But, my routing seemed to work.  No crashes.  Didn't try multichannel mode yet, just the manual routing.

I just did this...and YES it crashed....

I routed 1, 2, 3 ,4, 5, then 6, when I got to 7 I accidentally hit 6, so I went to change it to 7 and CRASH...

I repeated...when I got to 7....CRASH....
 
It's not right...that's for sure...

Well, glad it's not just me.  Found out that old projects done with EZD1 and in multichannel mode seem to load and play OK.  So far.  But I can't use multichannel at all on a new EZD2 project.  I've contacted Toon but they're so swamped right now who knows when they'll get back.  It's always somethin...

Good philosophy IMO...

Mac/Audio Unit version works fine. Maybe specific to Sonar or PC version.

Well, I only routed to 4 outputs..  let me try up to 7 and see what happens.
 
On an aside, when I wanted to export to .wav, I noticed I had a 24 bit option.  Wonder why that is if they only have their sample in 18 bit.  I guess they figured that was a good place to upsample if people wanted 24 bit .wav files if people didn't have other options in their DAW.

On an another aside, I'm sure Toon tested the routed etc pretty good, but will be pronto with a patch if needed.  Maybe before Superior 3   ;-D

Well, I only DL'd it last night, but I loaded a few different multi-channel kits from within EZD2, as well as an existing EZD1 setup from an old project. No crashes, but I only spent an hour or so getting familiar with the new features.
(I'm still on Sonar 8.5 X64) Don't know if that would make any difference though.
