Hi guyz , i wanted to ask you about few things :

1) what type of protection scheme do imageline plugin use ? are they 64 bits? (can't find this on their website!!)

2)I have read that toontrack alows 2 install and 2 reinstall , so what's going on when you used all ?

I have 2 laptop (one for me (pro) and one for cours at SAE) and one desktop as well as a HP Z1 coming soon ....so it really bothers me as i change system (dual boots) and HDD quite often ...

Thks

With regard to Toon, I've been careful NOT to use up my authorizations.
Like I never installed on a laptop I used to take with me traveling.
EZD2 starts from scratch, but all my EZX's have been installed 3 times.
Once on a now "dead" XP machine.
I own a LOT of TT products, I would hope they would re-start my counts....
Much prefer Cake's "honor" system!

Had re-authorise some Toontrack products after upgrading to win 8.1. I had run out on some. I created a support ticket and they reset them within an hour. Of course it might take longer outside business hours.

Toontrack allows two(2) active authorizations at one time with four(4) total authorizations. This means that you can have two computers authorized to use your Toontrack product concurrently (however not in use at the same time, as per the EULA). One common example is that the user have one permanent studio computer and also one laptop. If you decide that you want to change the computers that are actively authorized you can simply remove their authorization in your Toontrack account and add another one.
For example: if you have two computers actively authorized to use your software and you would like to add a third one, you would remove one of the currently active authorizations from your Toontrack.com account and then add an additional active authorization. In this example your active authorizations would be 2 of 2 and your Total authorizations would be 3 of 4.

While Toontrack can never add active authorizations to your account we can reset your total authorizations if you end up needing more than four.

I wish more people that use online authorizations would use the kind Scuffham amps uses.
Two authorizations can be active at any one time, if you want to use it on a friend's computer, you can deactivate an installation through the standalone interface, authorize on your friend's, use it, freeze it, deactivate it in the standalone and reactivate on your own computer.

That is very similar to Celemony's authorization plan as well.  Like you, I much prefer it.  But, in the end, it's hard to beat Cakewalk.

Image line you can install on as many machines as u like just save your reg code.one reg code unlocks everything imageline on your computer that u own. Most all the plugins are 64 bit the 64bit fl studio is released but is still considered a beta version.

TT has always been very quick to respond to e-mails and re-set my authorizations when I had to re-install a few times. One of the better support groups around as far as my experience.
