Hmmm. I wonder how much it will be to upgrade?

i mean, i really don't know...
EZ2 might be close to what superior 2.0 is now.....

i just know that the jump from EZ to SD was pretty large
and i got a deal on the upgrade, it just wasn't that much

It was mine. I have not used EZD since picking up Superior Drummer 2 crossgrade for cheap. Now when Superior Drummer 3 is announced....

Ezdrummer is easy, which is kind of the point. They probably should call this - LessEzDrummer.

It looks to me to be based around the EZKeys model of creating a song structure in the interface.

I wonder if that means that the MIDI will now become a proprietary format like EZKeys.

if by goal you mean more tweakbality, ya.

I don't make records (errm, CDs) but I've produced some decent sounding songs using EZDrummer as well as Superior. Heck I produced a couple of songs using a single stereo out from EZDrummer.

SH1 said it best. EZDrummer can be EZ.

One thing's for certain, there's going to be loads of add-ons. It's the way they are going.

I can see audiodeluxe now - buy 6 EzDrummer2 add-on packs for $99.....

It says your EZX packs will be optimised, so we'll have to see what that entails.

Washboard should be the next library.

I've got and primarily use SD2, but I still like to use EZD for hand percussion, with the Latin percussion EZX, as a separate instance using it's built in groove browser to audition the grooves and then drag from there into a Sonar MIDI track
