If you have ezdrummer it's $99.99 and a $20 gift card at audiodeluxe.

On kvr forum you can get it below $80 when it appears.

Smallstonefan on here has a cheap crossgrade going if you pm him.

This makes me feel better about the whole thing. Now I guess I need to decide if I want to do nothing, upgrade to EZ2 or go Superior.

The $99 helped my decision. I'll be awaiting a $49 post from cclarry.

Yeah, $49 seems to be reasonable. It will be hard to pay the same as the upgrade to Superior.

I guess if you like your EZDRummer 1...then forget EZ 2 because they won't co-exist...

Yeah, I actually like that idea. That means when and if I upgrade, One download will fix and organize everything. I hate moving folders around.

I'm sure that will deter a lot of "upgraders", as they won't want to re-do everything....

I won't be on board, unless they do something completely earth-shattering...
but, at $99....I'm out...it will be a holiday sale event thing...if ever..

As I understand it, You won't have to redo anything. Previous mixes with EZ1 will still load and sound the same with EZ2. I'll have to wait and see why they think I would want it instead of Superior.

I went back and had a look at EZdrummer and for the life of me I really can't figure out why it's the
number one selling drum VST on the market as claimed by toontrack in the video.

Perhaps when it was first released 8 years ago there was nothing else in that price range ?
I think BFD 1 would have been a lot more expensive but AFAIK it came out before EZdrummer
but today cakewalks very own session drummer is easily as good although lacking in expansion kits in comparison
but with the addition of addictive drums in X3 I'm surprised people are using EZdrummer at all with so many better options out there now.

Since the video says nothing about new features other than what's visible I'm interested to see what it offers, especially the ground breaking new features. I like the look of the new midi clip arranger, looks similar to BFD Eco's but the clips are coloured which I like.

I wonder if toontrack will let people get there hands on a trial version, I don't think they have done in the past but since XLN and fxpansion do perhaps they'll reconsider ?
