hi all
     this will be my 25 post...but not my last.....
  to be quite honest,   i have rarely posted before,  generally only when i have had 
 a problem....but my fingers have been firmly glued to the computer  keyboard ,and not my piano
 for the first time in years... the comments i have read, not just relating to my problems, are truly helpfull
as well as full of great humour..    Rather than post just anything,    i took a tour of the song forum  and
listened to a lot of tracks...and discovered a diverse and entertaining ,  world of music .from the great and good
to the up and coming.. as an old  [not that old]... jazz musician,  i have always believed anyone who can get a note 
out of something..is worth a listen.

I was dahn in London the other day.
 
When it was time to leave I hopped into a black cab and politely asked the driver to take me to Waterloo.
 
"Well me old china apples and pears" he replied "Do you mean the Station or the Battle?"
 
"I think you'll find I'm a bit late for the battle" was my reply to his overpowering cockney banter.

Ee'd have jus' taken Im to Walfamstow.  Half the bloody wowed and 'is uncle live there nah, you don't need no blinkin' Belgium no more.  Alf Garnett'll be turning in 'is grave by nah.
