GONG, only has two or three things worth playing that loud, so if all you can do to represent a band is those 3 things in a catalogue that is much bigger than that, then ... I pity you, lousy listener, for not even knowing what the heck is being mentioned!
It's on the album "YOU" and it is the 2 long cuts on what used to be the Side 2 of the LP. Best drumming ever in any rock album is right there, and some magnificent guitar interplay between Steve Hillage and Daevid Allen.
But I forget, that here, people do not know what progressive music is/was anyway, and they think that something that was done 42 years ago, is just another Vivaldi or Albinoni piece that no one will ever hear again -- specially them!
The rest of GONG is a bit of rock/jazz and other things, and it is not necessary to play loud! Unless you like to hear Shakti Yoni say "I am your witch! I am you p___y" a few more times and louder!
