KONTACT has a similar sound.

I'm sure Spectrasonics Omnisphere has dozens like this.

All good suggestions.

I would encourage psalmist35 to one day consider stretching the purse strings just a tad to get Kontakt. Then there's a sea of these pad sounds available.

I kind of laughed when I saw the OP's question and heard the pad sound. As, what he is looking for is the type of pad sound that I use most often (roland).

The closest I could find in soft synth land was, as I said above, the TTS..

edit: I listened again and noticed there is a choir type pad mixed in with the warm pad.

So that's where that sound comes from.  I had a client wanting a "warm pad" on a synth (Dim Pro) and I went on a wild hunt trying to find something to please him.  (I'm a guitar and bass kind of guy.)

I have Kontact and omnisphere and there are no pads that I can find that are just simple "warm pads" like that.

Finding an exact, exact replica might be challenging. The general point is that there are scads of these pads out there. Omnisphere is pricey for searching for a pad, but Kontakt and then any of the low cost (like $10 pad set makers) offer an over abundance of these.

There are some sounds like this also included in some of the AAS sound sets which are also available at a reasonable price.

I think it sounds more glassy than choir like.

Thanks for the suggestion timidi.  I will check this out.

As much as I don't like navigating a Yamaha keyboard, Yamaha has some great sounds too.  Additionally, I really like the Roland Integra 7.  Great sounds and features!

Actually, I am working toward this purchase.  Personally this a direction I feel will work best for me for live performance play.  I completely agree.
