Incidentally, I don't know if it's just here in LV but I'd never have thought that post offices could be constantly jam-packed. Never saw anything like that back home in Canada.
 
So much that US post office recently made it to the third on my list of places to be avoided, right behind "Airport" and "DMV".

I went with the framed offering. It will be a great addition to my stamp collection.
 
I miss our old postmaster. He retired (medical) last year. He stayed on top of his game and now
things aren't the same.
Now I'll have to monitor on-line...and miss the conversations -like we would have had about Hendrix.
 
I don't remember exactly what I needed help with for the Beatle stamp collection but I remember how
nice those folks in England were...and I had to open the package so my postmaster (Beatle fan) could
see it all. Yep, miss him.
