  • Toontrack website totally broken? Or is it me?

I'm finding the new Toontrack website impossible to navigate.
There is no way to see or purchase EZX or MIDI paks.
There is no way to contact Toontrack with a question. Other than the forum.
The new "My products" page shows all products with the ones I don't own greyed out. You can't do anything with the greyed out products, so why display them?
Really bad deployment of the new site, hope it gets fixed.

They're revamping their website, getting ready for the new rollout but it's basically working fine here.
I can find all my products, user info.
It should be back to normal by May 6.

Carl,
Working fine? Not from my browser.
Can you see the EZX or MIDI paks from the "Products" menu? Can you see descriptions of the individual EZXs or MIDI paks? I don't.
I can see all of my products, in my account too. But, in my account I also see all the products I don't own. They are greyed out. I can't do anything with the greyed out ones. I can't purchase them, can't view them, can't do anything with the ones I don't own. Why are they there if I can't do anything with them?
Can you see any way to contact Toontrack customer service or support? I don't.
I wanted to buy another EZX before the upgrade so I would have it for both EZDrummer and EZDrummer 2, but I don't see any way to buy it!
I also wanted to ask customer service if the new EZXs (after EZD2) will still work with the original EZDrummer. I plan on keeping EZDrummer on my laptop for a while after upgrading my main DAW.

For support how about posting on their forum?

My screen says "Nothing Here" with the first link.
Perhaps you are here because:
The page has moved
The page no longer exists

They must be working on it today. EZX and MIDI packs just started to show up.

When I went yesterday I found much to dislike about the whole site.  The old one was MUCH better IMHO.  In my account not only did it needlessly show products I don't have (greyed out) it only showed (I believe) four of them on the first page and made me click "unhide" to see the rest.  The old site was easy to navigate...especially the big boxes on the first page that said in large letters..."download product", "register product", etc...

This is a perfect example of if it ain't broke...don't fix it.

And, for now, I won't even talk about how slow the new site is.  Or will I?

New EZXs released after the EZD2 roll out will not be compatible with EZD original.

Yes, TT is aware that their site is afflicted.  They are having to use it this way, as well.  It is slowly improving as far as I can tell.

Mod,
Eric at JRRShop said he confirmed with TT that EZXs purchased after May 6 WILL still work with EZD original. I've posted to the customer service forum at TT asking the same question. Let's see what they say.
So far it's a tie!  Yes=1, No=1

I wouldn't sign into it. I did but won't now after looking at it. Looks vulnerable to me.

Mod,
Just got a reply from TT. The Yes(s) have it! Yeah!

Will future EZX’s be compatible with EZdrummer Version 1.

No, From May 6th, 2014 and on new EZX-s joining the current line up will only be compatible with EZdrummer 2 (and Superior Drummer 2.0) and will be advertised as such. The current line of EZX-s will continue to be available, in a revised format, retaining full compatibility with EZdrummer 1.
