Can't believe nobody's mentioned Oasis, a band whose awfulness was in direct proportion with their egos.

There was a bit in a Mystery Science Theater episode wherein some Godzilla-like monster was swimming to London to trash up the place.  Tom Servo commented: "Well maybe while he's there he can get rid of Oasis" ... or something to that effect.

Elvis

The Doors

The Incredible String Band

The Rolling Stones (I like some of their stuff, Parsons influenced songs)

Cher

Van Halen

any Nu Metal bands or Cookie Monster rock bands

Black Oak Arkansas and that ARSE Jim Dandy (their sound people would sabotage any opening act that was better, they did it to White Witch).

OK... Robert Johnson, I tried. I like covers of his songs but I cannot listen to him sing them.

The Kinks.. (I like a few of their songs)

Queen

RUSH I bought their first live album on cassette and it is the only album I ever returned to a store because it was so bad. They took it back.

Dave Matthews Band. UGH...

COLDPLAY.
What an absolute load of unmitigated, unabridged cod's wallop this band is. I wouldn't line my parrot's cage with them.

100% agreement here.

Oasis

One of the most over-hyped bands ever.

Some friends of mine used to listen to Leonard Cohen, but I could never get into any of his stuff at all.

Can't stand them- and their audience.

I disliked Rush for the last 30 years, immensely - I did try to like them when I first heard them, but I gave up after a while. I've always respected them though, I appreciated their talent, I knew some of that stuff was brilliant but I couldn't stand their music.

But I guess things are changing - I bought 2112 Friday and I must have listened to it at least a dozen times since. I ended up grabbing Moving Pictures as well and I'll most likely be ordering a bunch more on Amazon. :/
