So then... when it is available will you jump right on it or wait a couple of days, a week, a month, what? Jumping right in hasn't hurt me yet so I know what I'll do.

The only "jump right in" that was even close to painful was when audiosnap did not work in the initial release of X1 and that was fixed within a very short time with a patch/hotfix.
I'm sure I'll just install immediately. I'm expecting some great fixes in this update (let's hope I'm right).
