This is a great thing for us! Having AD and EZD both trying to present the best product. Love it. The EZD2 video I watched made it a must have here. I struggle with drums all the time, mainly because I get bored quickly with all the work I need to put into the drum portion of the song and I don't really have a strong passion to hang in there to get it great. EZ drummer 2 looks like it streamlines that process which leaves me with hope that my drum tracks improve and my time to get them improved maybe even decreases.

While I don't think I'm "addicited" to AD I like em' a lot. It'll be interesting to see what is coming.

For me personally it would be nice to see more drum endings/beginnings and partial fills...actually more loops altogether. Midi takes up a small footprint. Never can have too much IMO.

Just saw that JRRshop has Addictive Drums and an AD Pak for $129.00. If you use the coupon code 'group' it reduces the cost to about $109. Not a bad deal for Full AD and an AD Pak plus you will get a free update to AD2.

Oh man. Going to be tempted at that price.

EZD2 looks great but I recently upgraded to SD2 so I'll probably pass temporarily on upgrading to EZD2. Definitely gonna go with the $79 upgrade for ADD2. XLN support is 2nd to none IMB.

I have pretty much decided to go upgrade to ADD2, but with only a splash screen ad and some pricing info, I am a little nervous that they may be pushing the app out to not lose people to EZD2. I hope it is ready for market.

I'm sure soon we will start seeing the "ads" and YouTube Video's....

I appreciate the approach that XLN is taking on this.

They gave us a heads-up, a brief idea of what new features might be, an opportunity to sign up for updates about the product release, and a basic release date vs. hyping with all the hoop-la and boog-a-boo that other vendors practice.

I am looking forward to the release and doing the upgrade isn't even a question for me. I like their stuff, service, and support.

Also +1 from me - always had superb service from XLN and as a very long time Addictive Drums user shall upgrade without any doubt - and when you see what some other vendors get up to, yes they have it right, the likes of IK and Sonoma (Drum Core) most definitely have it very wrong.
