Just got the Sweetwater Paper in the mail and page 1
has EZDrummer 2 on it...

Last paragraph states:

"The words "must have" get thrown around a lot.  But, in the case of EZDrummer 2, those two
words are totally justified--EZDrummer 2 is at the top of my "MUST HAVE" list.

Nice!

Here's the not-official-word.  A version of EZD2 that is not a final release version was exposed on their site because of a flaw in the new website they put up.
If you haven't downloaded the file, you can't because it is now removed.  If you downloaded it and you are working fine, be happy.  If you've installed the file and now you are stranded with no EZdrummer working at all, PM me with your email address and I will forward it to a TT developer who is working on a solution to the issue.

Yes, I am very happy indeed! I am quite impressed with EZD2, so far. I have not encountered any issues at all. Everything I have tried has worked as expected. You can tell a lot of work and attention to detail has gone into this version. It is not just an EZD1 with some sugar and spice on top, but a completely redesigned GUI with new kits, drum track creation/editing tools, performance enhancements and a host of other new useful features. The program itself just feels really solid and responsive. For me, it is well worth the upgrade fee.

Cheers,

I wasn't as lucky Billy.

Restored a backup image file that I had just made the other day because nothing I did would make EZD 1 work.

Took a lunch break and saw the emails and posts about what TT found out and what they were doing about it.

Stuff happens. I know it wasn't intentional what happened. And they have worked with me on this.

I can say I am happy right now and looking forward to EZD2. Dealing with ToonTracks Customer Service was really nice. No hassles. They were polite and understanding. I will continue to be a TT customer. And I highly recommend them to everyone. With CS like this, you can't go wrong.
