Seems a bit long indeed.
 
I ordered my SGJ from them November 9th (Saturday).
It was shipped on the 11th (Monday) and arrived on Friday the 15th.
 
 

Hmm...  That's strange.  This gorgeous wood amp just arrived at my home - and I never even ordered it!  Cool.  

SW is always fast... they are waiting on Mesa. I hope they get it tomorrow, they expected to get it Wednesday. Said Mesa shipped it "freight"... they must have had a lot of stops along the way. I don't know why you can't place the order with the whatever online dealer and if they have to get it from the manufacturer... why can't the mfg just ship it to the customer? Seems like extra expense for no good reason. Do I smell a union?

Jbow, I live less than 2 hours away from Sweetwater, and there are times when shipping will take 3 days. It's frustrating! I should have just gone there and picked it up. I woulda had it the same day.

They got it today, said I should have it Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest! YEP!

Now if I could figure out what is causing this 120 cycle hum in a Champ build... going to do some rewiring tomorrow maybe check coupling caps... if that don't work I will disassemble and re-ground... if that don't work I will swap out the PT... arrrghhhhhh. I need to get it done before Tuesday because the Boogie will probably make me forget about it...

It must have been a partial-post when they shipped it.

They shipped it freight... So they got it Friday, I checked my account today and it says that SW has not shipped it yet. I'll be calling tomorrow it I don't see a tracking number by early afternoon. By the time I get it I may have moved on to wanting something else... nah, but dang.

It is in the mail... so to speak. FedEx picked it up at 7:30, is at their facility in Ft. Wayne. Is expected to be an my lair on Wednesday.
Time to start changing guitar strings...

..and I still want an SG, I bet it would be perfect with this amp. I was looking at them last night but I know my limitations. I have to wait a while, or sell something but every time I think about selling something I get cold feet.
