Me? I don't really "hear" music when I'm in a vehicle so mobile music isn't something that matters to me and
I do know my hearing isn't getting any better so pftt. I can use that money for more important toys.

Isn't it funny that the people who use their ears under controlled double blind testing find that they hear almost exactly what the people who bothered to learn how things work in what we call "objective reality" predict?
 
Of course people could spend 15 minutes and do the tests for themselves, but that would imply they care about reality.
 
I'm sorry, but it has nothing to do with "numbers" vs. "ears. It's about "knowledge" vs. "ignorance, stupidity and/or the strong desire to believe in something regardless of the evidence".

I fear too many people still think what we have is "good enough". Too many people are happy with good enough....and they  already invested in a system and don't care to change...unless they are a serious audiophile.

You don't have to apologize to me Drew...I don't care what either one or any of them has to say...I make my own determination of what sounds good to me. In this case- I'll decide if I ever hear it.

Thanks for the read Drew, ol pal. Quite informative. Agree with ol Carl...always have. Still miss him. Maybe I'm not as big a dimbulb as I think:-)
