I probably wouyld show her Daevid Allen doing the glissando. That's a Hohner he uses and it's headless, and Steve Hillage uses the same/similar model for the same thing. They are the only two folks that know how to use the glissando nicely in any piece of music, be it meditation (both have albums with it) or just songs.
Something "different", since all the other guitars kinda look the same.
After that show her some Egberto Gismonti and those homemade 8 and 10 string guitars he used to play. His solo albums from 30 years ago, are out of this world, and have a tendency to intimidate rock'n'rollers real bad!
