Let's hope it's as good as it sounds!

I boot from my other drive and it can see but not access the drive...abracadabra!

Magician identifies the drive as OK with 0GB free available out of 0GB...phew that's OK then!

Seeking a replacement as it was only 6 months old.

And so ends my Sonar music making for tonight

I never use the software that comes with a drive.  I just installed a Samsung SSD as my new OS just last weekend and, after putting it in the PC, I simply went to Administrative Tools (then Computer Management and Storage) where it told me I had an uninitialized drive and asked me if I wanted to initialize it.  I did and then it could be seen as an empty drive.

BTW - "OK with 0GB free available out of 0GB" doesn't make a whole lot of sense!  It should say something like "256 GB free of 256 GB" instead.

Yes 0GB free out of 0GB and it thinks the drive is OK...

I'm formatting it now and will try restoring it from a backup...looks like it may just be corrupted.

It is in 2 partitions and one of them is OK
