Only if your a kid/person wanting to jam on guitars or beat on drum sets.
 
For KEYBOARD  players most of the GCs have shyed away downgraded their "keyboard" department, and focus on the entry level boards and a select line of keys.
 
But I read a great KARMA justice for GC.
 
The spin is that the GCs came into a town and put the mom and pop music stores out of business with the full line offereings and lower prices.
 
Now, people go try out an axe at GC and if they like it, buy it Cheaper on the internet...
 
I used to buy all my boards at a local music store because he gave me 30% off AND let me pay on time with no charge.Some stupid arses  took advantage of him and ripped him off and burned him , so he quit that program.
 
Its hard not to buy @ Sweetwater with 24 months to pay, even if they are a little more expensive..
 
But I walked into that same mom and pop who had some gear he had for a while and he made me offers I couldn't refuse so I paid cash and we both were happy.
