Ok then, So I guess my cake password etc wasn't stolen and used by these hackers to shut down cake cause I upgraded to Mavericks, which in turn forced me to download things I wasn't sure of, like Flash, and 'flip for mac'.

And then Skype didn't work. Heck, maybe they're staring at me right now as I type....??
Hmm.

Hey, look at this on Skype!!! There's a masked man running around the house.

... in a speedo.

I think that the electrons are getting bigger making it harder for them to pass through computers. Oprah may have had something to do with it according to my sources. In any event someone has collided with the collider and wreaked havoc.

I must have missed the whole black ops thing that went down. Whew!

Failures are finger posts on the road to achievement.

Mine just kept cycling through scads of "cakewalk privacy" pages. It was actually kinda purdy.

They've apparently updated the software. It may help to flush your DNS cache if you get here via bookmarks in your browser. If you use hard-coded URLs, such as in a desktop shortcut or batch file, you'll have to change them.

I had Chrome configured to open the forums I visit most in tabs on startup, so I had to manually update the URLs to make them work. For example, http://forum.cakewalk.com/tt.aspx?forumid=31 now must be http://forum.cakewalk.com/Coffee-House-f31.aspx.

I also sometimes open the Cakewalk forums from a desktop shortcut.  If you'd like to do that too, just save the following as a batch file and create a shortcut to it (these are just the ones I open by default):

StART http://forum.cakewalk.com/SONAR-X-Series-f57.aspx
START http://forum.cakewalk.com...cer-and-Studio-f5.aspx
START http://forum.cakewalk.com/Software-f39.aspx
START http://forum.cakewalk.com/Coffee-House-f31.aspx

Yes. Cakewalk forgot to pay their web hosting bill. Funny but that is exactly what it looked like. Usually the hosting company puts up advertisements during the grace period while they are waiting to get paid.
