It features 60 patches divided in 6 categories: Keys, Pads, Plucked Strings, Sequences, Soundscapes, and Various. Chromaphone physical modelling synthesis combines acoustic resonators to produce dynamic and expressive sounds. Despite Chromaphone tagline “creative percussion synthesizer”, ChromaKey focuses entirely on hybrid and organic melodic sounds.

The description looks good and interesting as well as the pricing.........how does it sound? (it's a blocked site here at work). Did you get this Nigel?

I listened to the demos and I particularly liked a couple of the Key sounds, so yes I blew some of this months budget and am just downloading as I write!
I think I picked up two really good cheap libraries this month - this one and the Atom Hub one which only cost me 1.50!!
Now saving all money for potential upgrades on Ezdrummer and Addictive Drums. Have to wait and see on final specs on these.

Of course, but I put away some money on a very long term deposit and hope the interest will pay for ST3 when / if / maybe its ever released - I wonder if ST3 will work with Sonar X9................

There IS the very good possibility that X9 will be 128bit by that time and ST3 will then be incompatible at 64bits......(at least you'll be a millionaire from all the interest collected)
