Star here is a simple pleasure...

It is Birch plywood. It is also a fine example of why I originally posted with "nothing is simple".
See...I wanted some 13 ply Birch plywood because I want to make neck and body templates. If one knows about plywood they know why I wanted this.
Now the problem is "nothing is simple" because in general people are freakin' stupid and getting worse every day.
I'll explain; the only place I could get the dimension that I wanted and pay a reasonable shipping cost does not include the number of plys.
It would have make perfect sense to list the number of plys ESPECIALLY since it's PLYWOOD but OH NO...that's to friggin' simple.
Well...if they half of a friggin' brain and have read the note I sent they are currently trying to think of an excuse and sending an apology with complete information and updating their ad....but instead I bet they're trying to figure out what the hell I was complaining about.
 
 
Oh....if you're planning on building a speaker cabinet...yep, 13 ply Birch B-BB is most excellent.

I see your point there Spacey. This probably won't be simple either, just a thought and maybe not a good one. Can you find the source and ask them? Or maybe someone who can count could actually count the number of plys?

LOL! "maybe someone who can count" ...
It was an example of something that one would think would be simple...and isn't. I grew up knowing that it would be wise to know more than one way to skin anything that needed it. :) I'll be making my templates next weekend :) and they'll still have a dumb arse ad. Amazing.

In a few minutes they are gonna scrum me to prevent windchill and stop stray rounds while I feast on marinated chicken, pickle chips, and some form of tequila.
