I was checking out the Bluecat Patchworks and stumbled across this one.  Looks like a great tool to have for mixing.

I thought it looked cool too.

Well, so much for waiting for comments.  After all, why should this purchase be any different?    Bought it at Audio Deluxe for $100ish.

Will be curious to see what you think of it. I bought it a while back to use on a project that I wanted to try some fx on a single band but didn't have the time to play with it much and had forgot all about it until I just saw this thread.

Anyway, as I remember the price sounds about right...

There are two reasons I bought it:

It also acts as a wrapper for VST effects for Pro Tools 11.  I've missed some of my VSTs when I moved to PT.  Universal Audio still is in process on the Windows AACX versions of their plugs and I miss them a lot.  The UA2 DBX 160 is a must on Kick, Snare and Bass.  Well, maybe a "must" is a bit strong but it sounds really nice.

Being able to carve holes in stereo wave files should be useful as I spread high and mid frequency content out to the sides if it conflicts with the center tracks.
