So I've stoppped using all EW products except for QL Spaces. Spaces sounds amazing and doesn't seem to have issues like pops and clicks.

Ya bout that no issues thing. So I load up a song and it sounds really.... dry. I look at the mixer and there's no sound coming out of the reverb channel. I start looking at sends and trying to figure out why nothing is sending to the reverb bus. The answer? everything is sending, Spaces is receiving, it has its preset loaded, it is just doing nothing. I have to reload the preset to make it work.
 
Some how Kontakt can remember a complex setup of instruments that I've tweaked, but Spaces can't remember a preset. Or more accurately it remembers it, displays it in the windows, and just doesn't convolve anything.
 
I swear EW's programmers must sniff glue in their free time. There is just no way to be this bad this long at making stuff work.
 
I am debating switching to using IR-L (which I also have) but I do so love the spaces impulses.

Are the IRs standard wave files? If so, you should be able to use them with another convolution reverb. If they're mono, you can load them up into PerfectSpace.

Sound wise I like all their products. They are amazing audio engineers. I own EWQLSO, Goliath, and Symphonic Choirs. I just don't use them because Play sucks. Amazing engineers, derpy programmers.

Ha! Are you kidding me? This is EastWest! They do everything their own, locked down, uber DRM way. The files are all some proprietary format they invented, ".eird". Otherwise, I would have loaded that stuff in to a different convolver long ago. EW only uses and supports proprietary formats so that they can force you to use their software and thus force iLok on you. They are convinced the be-all, end-all is to prevent piracy, and be damned if that hurts their sales.

Sorry to hear you are having so much problems with East West stuff.
I've been using their stuff for years and never had any problems at all going from windows XP to 7 operating systems, 32 bit to 64 bit and Sonar 4 or  5  I think (perhaps even 3!) to X3e - weird or what 
I hope you get it sorted soon as their stuff is very good imho

expereinced the same issue with the built in reverb in fab four ...you have to reload the preset ...conclusion : i freez or just don't use it ...

Ya I'm debating what to do. It isn't a huge issue since I like to use just one reverb on a send bus. Just means I have to remember when I reopen a project to fix it. However I might just see if I can find any impulses I like as mush in the IR-L library, since it doesn't seem to have any issues.

Ya I might reinstall the older version. I don't recall it having the problem and I think I still have a copy.
