ADT has been useful on many instrument, vocal and even percussion tracks for many engineers and producers during the "tape era"...and even into the digital age by old schoolers. It's not just a vocal double tracker by any means...but it can handle that quite well. If this plug can match the actual analogue effects it should be winner.

At least I hope so...I just ordered it.

lol i love how you try to convice yoursdelf you need it ahah ;)   ....i usually do the same .....:( ....;)

Ok, I'm going to sound stupid here. I bought the ADT and it doesn't seem to work like it does in the in dept tutorial video. The stereo and the stereo v2 versions seem to work fine on stereo tracks as I guess expected but I cannot get the mono to stereo versions to work. I put it on a mono track and cannot get to separation left or right effect like it does in the video. The image is just centered with the phasing, flanging etc. As an example I put mono to stereo on a mono guitar track and selct the preset 2 guitars is better than 1. It's still mono, no left right stuff happening.  Am I not using it correctly? I appreciate any help.

Make sure to change your track interleave to stereo.

I had to remove my mono plugs first then change the interleave. Inserted the plugin but still no sound on the right side, only left side. I muted the SRC and panned the ADT all the way right, no sound. Even panning the SRC all the way right no sound. The needle moves but no sound. Dunno.

Hmmm...the vocal I was working on was mono and I was using the mono to stereo version but didn't see (or hear) that happening. I'll check tomorrow when I'm back at the studio.

I sent an email to Waves support regarding this and this is what I was Told.

Mono->Stereo should be used on Stereo tracks with Mono input / Mono audio file. (which means the input of the effect is Mono.. while the output is Stereo - you can pan left or right)

I don't understand how you have a stereo track with a mono input and mono audio file.

In SONAR speak that seems to me to mean a mono (recorded) track that then is changed to stereo interleave.

But I'm a novice. What do I know?
