Picking up where our popular Minimal Techno Library left off, our latest two free additions to the Alchemy Factory Library contain 25 presets each, combining driving drums and percussion, gritty synths and deep basses.
The Electronic Synths and Minimal Loops Micro Libraries are available for free to all users of the full, desktop version of Alchemy, and can be found in the Product Downloads area of your account.

It's so nice to regularly get these free libraries from Camel.........they are all very useful/excellent quality sounds. Thank you Camel......and Carl for posting this.

Sure.
I've installed but haven't had a chance to check them out yet.
Always nice to get freebies from them, great software.

Gift horse and all that. Very generous of the folks at Camel - but I wish they would actually provide these as a separate soundset volume. All of these show up in the very massive "factory" soundset - ( same for the recent didgeridoo soundsets) which makes it difficult to hunt them down and audition the new sounds. Any commercial soundsets I have purchased are separated in their own category in the library, including the "minimal techno" set they refer to in their bulletin.
I know this is a petty gripe over a very generous freebie, and many of the sounds are wonderful. Just thinking about what might make them more accessible. My 2 cents only. Carry on.

I agree Brando. I was using Alechemy last evening and had to do a bit of searching for some of these freebies that actually turned out to be in the Factory soundset. I can't remember if there was a subfolder within Factory that differentiated them by soundsets or by instruments......I remember them much easier by soundset since I download them seperately........it seems to stay a bit more fresher in my little brain this way.

Why not try what they suggest on their website?

The Micro Libraries can be accessed in the Alchemy browser by searching for MinimalLoops or ElectronicSynths in the User Tags field.

Hi Carl - Yes I did try that - however at your suggestion I tried it again and it seemed to have worked this time.
It is the spelling (correct as you show it). I used the spelling "Electronic Synths" (per Camel's literature) which obviously is incorrect and brings up pretty much everything I have.
I know I am being a pedantic ass, but the Alchemy browser works great when sounds are segregated according to "sound library" or "sound designer" - When we are required to search by "User Tags" a user would need to know the sound he/she is looking for is tagged as "ElectronicSynths" and not in "electronic synths" or "Electronic*" - (although it looks like the browser accepts "electronicsynths".
A gift is a gift and I am sorry I made this out to be bigger than it is or should be. Just struck me as unnecessary. (great sounds by the way).
My kids hated when I unwrapped my Xmas gift (usually a Tie) too. I am an a'hole. I should get Bapu to make me a T-Shirt. LOL.

Something else. I cleared the search field (which had "minimalloops" in it) in Alchemy and clicked the magnifying glass beside the field thinking it would reset the search to include everything - SONAR (X3E Producer, 64 bit with Alchemy 64 bit) immediately crashed. I did this before but thought it was something else. Could someone (Carl/Mesh?) confirm this is happening there too or if not let me know? I will report to the Camels and the Bakers if it looks like this is something other than my system.
Many thanks -

I'll definitely check it out tonight once I get home.....however, I'm on X2 PE x64 and the Bakers may or may not take too much account of my report. Either way, I'll let you know.
