I just downloaded Rapture Pro from my "Connected Products" page.  I invoke the installation, choose the language to display the "Welcome to the Rapture Pro Setup Wizard" dialog.  When I press the "Next >" button on that dialog I get a message box indicating "Out of system resources".  If I then click the "OK" button, the installation seems to continue to the "Choose Version" dialog.  I cancel the installation at that point since I'm not sure it will perform a proper installation.

Anyone else out there experiencing this?

Thanks,
Paul

Ignore the message, it should install OK. What OS are you running?

Thanks for your response.

I'm running Windows 7 Professional (64 bit), SP1.
I assume you've installed it that way and didn't have any issue.  Is that a correct assumption?

Thanks again,
Paul

Yes, running Win7 Home Premium SP1. OK so far.

Hi Paul,

Can you tell me anything else about your setup? Were you installing locally or to an external drive? Did everything install properly after you accepted the message? Thanks!

I have the same problem the original poster has. On top of that, it chokes on the packs. The first one started to install, then hung. On the second try it installed (or said it did). But then I tried the next pack, and it hung again, so I gave up. So even though clicking through the "out of resources" box it seems you can continue with the Rapture Pro installation, the fact that the next stage hangs makes me think the installation really is not successful. I uninstalled and retried a couple times (and with reboots in-between just to give it a clean slate, so to speak) but with identical results - or non-results, I guess. Command Center thinks it was installed, so the only option now is re-install, but the results are the same. I am on Win 7 SP1 64-bit with a 3.40 GHz processor and 16 GB of RAM. Sonar Platinum with all the options installed fine, and when I updated to Dorchester it went fine. But not Rapture Pro. I put in a request to Tech Support a couple days ago but haven't heard anything yet.

Each installer is independent. The "out of resources" error only refers to the program core itself. I doubt the "out of resources" error in the program installer is related to your content installer problems.

Maybe, but it seems odd that there isn't something in common, as only the Rapture Pro "tree" products have had this problem so far. Perhaps something in the installer being used - even if each installation is independent - is different from the Sonar Platinum and the other installers? That may seem unusual, but given the different results, it does occur to me. Nothing in my system changed in the half-hour between downloading and installing Dorchester and trying to install Rapture Pro. And I also can't help but think that something that triggers an "out of resources" box can't have some kind of effect on the program being installed. In any case, this needs to be solved, as right now I'm sitting on something I can't use properly.

And yet others receiving the "out of resources" error with the core manage to complete the installation without incident. Could it be system related? These are fairly large installers, is there sufficient free space on the system drive to handle them?
