Everything is updated
We weren't expecting another update so soon, but there were a few things we needed to fix. VST3 users were sometimes experiencing a hang during plugin scanning. That's fixed. Our 3D plugins were also confused by Pro Tool's new version numbering scheme (not announced until NAMM--right after the previous release). That's fixed as well.

On top of that, we've addressed a number of other small bugs. Those fixes are described in the release notes included with every installer. You can get find the updates here.

Make Sure Your iLok Is Up To Date
If you haven't updated your iLok software in 2018, you'll need to take care of that before these newer versions will run. First, make sure you're running iLok License Manager version 4.1.0. Then do this:
  • Make sure your iLok is inserted.
  • Launch License Manager and log in to your account.
  • Select the iLok icon (on the lower left panel of License Manager)
  • Right-click on the iLok icon and choose Synchronize. The operation may take a few seconds.

What are the new version numbers?
  • Excalibur 2.1.7
  • M7 Control 1.1.7
  • NIMBUS 1.0.5
  • R4 1.0.3
  • PhoenixVerb 3.0.7
  • R2 3.0.7
  • PhoenixVerbSurround 2.0.6
  • R2Surround 2.0.6
  • Stratus 1.0.3
  • Stratus3D 1.0.3
  • Symphony 1.0.3
  • Symphony3D 1.0.3
All of these have been tested on the newest versions of MacOS High Sierra and Windows 10. You can get find the updates here.

Who's eligible?
If you've got a valid license for the plugin(s)--regular, student, promotional, demo, NFR--you're eligible for the free upgrade.

Anything else?
We recommend that you keep your previous installer in a backup area. We do everything we can to make sure upgrades are compabible. But just in case, you should always have a backup of previous installers. We make older versions available for a revision or two, but we don't keep them forever.

64-bit only
As announced at the beginning of 2017, we've now discontinued updates of the 32-bit form of our plugins. If you're still running a 32-bit DAW, please consider updating or replacing it so that you can take advantage of the newest features and fixes from Exponential Audio.

Where can I download?
