So far does the Fantom operate in X2?

I don't have X2 yet WSS. Just thought I'd bump your thread.

Ive not had a chance yet WSS. I have a few errors and issues with X2 needing fixed so I have just not had a chance :(

X2 is here, I'll install it tomorow and test that ASAP

edit.... just remembered... no fantom here so no test for now!

does the fantom work in 64 bit at all yet, or will you have to stick to 32 bit if you want to use it?

Sheeez.... you keyboard players... I'm sure I got it to work in 64bit with X1 some time ago now but don't really care enough for synthy stuff to persevere with what was involved.

There are folks here I'm sure that have got it to work though...?

I don't even know if it will work in  64 bit.
Anybody?

BTW I play some keys but use iit for bass and drum and pads too.

I've been using the Fantom under 64-bit SONAR since X1. In fact, I didn't even realize that it wasn't officially supported until I was recently downloading updates while getting it working in X2 (x64) on Windows 8. 

When using it in 64-bit mode the VS editor will load using SONAR's built-in Bitbridge. The only issue that I have (and I'm not even sure that it's x64-specific) is that you have to start playback a beat or two early or otherwise the first MIDI notes will not playback. Otherwise, it works just as I expect it to. 

BTW, I also have an ARX-01 drum module installed in the VS700R I/O module and that works too....usually.

same here. fantom and ARX card work fine in X1d 64 bit. didn't do any automation stuff with it, though, and have not used it much in X2 yet ...
