While we're at it, we should re-draw the boundary just below Middlesbrough and give 'em all that's above it too. The  only purpose of those places is to make the Scots think England is a bit of a dump in the hope that they will turn round and go back home, so we won't need it any more.

On a serious note, supposing Scotland does become independent, how does that affect you mate?
 
Some questions:

1. I'm assuming you'll remain a British citizen, so would you then be living and working in a foreign country for all intents and purposes?
2. If you plan to stay there, could you adopt citizenship.
3. Do you get a vote in the upcoming referendum?
4. Will you get full voting rights in Scotland by residency, or will you still be entitled to vote in the UK?
5. Whatever happens, can we still have all your delicious oil

Well I hope you're not including beautiful sunny Newcastle in that.
