On a serious note, supposing Scotland does become independent, how does that affect you mate?
Some questions:
- I'm assuming you'll remain a British citizen, so would you then be living and working in a foreign country for all intents and purposes?
- If you plan to stay there, could you adopt citizenship.
- Do you get a vote in the upcoming referendum?
- Will you get full voting rights in Scotland by residency, or will you still be entitled to vote in the UK?
- Whatever happens, can we still have all your delicious oil
I certainly get a vote in the referendum mate, that's the only question I can answer with any certainty.
If Scotland want a resounding 'YES' though, they've missed a trick.
They should have let the English vote.
