Hey Strike...why didn't your link work?  You certainly are not a "newb"...???

I can see why. I posted it left handed. I'm naturally right handed.

can anybody shed some light on this plugin synth?

how many presets does it come with?  You Tube videos of Rob playing it he says there are thousands of presets sometimes 3k sometimes over 2K.  He was still developing presets for Blue II prior to release.

The Blue II product page doesn't state and none of the other store product pages say anything about size of the library/content or how many presets some with it.

Is it any good?  the video's I have seen have Rob playing various patches, showing examples of layering - they all sound amazingly good, but are those the only presets that are good?  how is the library of preset sounds?

Is it easy to work with?  it looks easy to program but is it?  I mean turning knobs and clicking on things etc.

Sorry, I am interest in this Synth, I'm just not sure if it's worth it or not.  I have not tried the demo yet, I might do that but thought I would ask here 1st.

I'm not a user but it's been well received by those who dig this kind of thing. I've read about the presets being top notch too. Kvr has a thread on it but not a lot of detail as of yet.

Yeah kind of my sense as well.  I have read the KVR thread, not a lot to go on there.

Bajan Blue
I use to do some work with someone who had the original Blue on his system - I got to play with it quite a bit and I remember it sounding good, being easy to use and having lots of great sounding presets - it was one of those synths that I always wanted to buy but never got around to it for some reason or another!!!
As I said this was a few years back but I can't imagine Version 2 would be anything but as good (or better!) than the version I used.

Since it has an XY pad, I wonder if it's OSC compatible?
