on TV last night.
Letterman, Ringo and Paul were at the studio were they had performed on the Sullivan show and asked about how they decided what tunes to play...then he listed off some tunes, stopped, looked at them and stated, "you know...just those are a whole career for a group".
I enjoyed all of it.

I enjoyed the show, even though it was a bit Grammyfied. A Senior moment for me was remembering who the guitar player was in the house-band. Not Peter Frampton, the other guy. Finally the light came on....guitar ace Steve Luthaker from Toto.

I also liked Paul's comments about having a band with just any one Beatle, would have been a great band. Debateable of course, but a point with some truth.

It sure was fun.  There were a couple of spots that weren't as stellar as the rest, but very enjoyable over all.

I missed the beginning, but watched most of it.

I wasn't particularly thrilled some of the performances, but then it's a hard thing covering a Beatles tune at something like that - you can't improve it if you play it straight and it's supposed to be about the Beatles not about you, so you can't really make it your own too much either.

I really enjoyed the end though, and thought Paul sounded much better than he has in some recent performances.

But for some reason it seemed to be Ringo who really made everyone smile (including me).

I agree Jan. Many or most of the performances weren't styles that I care for but I would sure liked to have been there.
Not doubt there were some guitar pickers there.
Joe kind of messed me up...I can't stop thinking that I need to build myself a white Strat. I guess I won't be satisfied until I have one of every shade and color LOL.

Drew...I thought Paul and Ringo were both great. They both made it a lot of fun and I'm glad to see they can still make great music that people enjoy.

It was great, although Yoko reminded me of a wind up monkey that bangs cymbals. It was nice to see Ringo get some love and the whole thing just made me think of better days. And it was free!

No, no...  That's not nearly loud and annoying enough to describe her.

Was there some kind of lookalike cover band on? I walked past the studio on Saturday afternoon and saw 4 eerie replicas walking inside...
