Yes it is...I got it for $199 at the last sale...and it's MORE then worth the money...
I, personally, think Komplete is one of the best "Bang for your buck" packages out there.
What you get for the price is incredible...considering that JUST Kontakt is $299...

I'm hoping that I have the money when the next half price sale happens so I can make the move
to Ultimate.

Wonderful...  I had been tossing around the $99 Amplitube + 3 amp collections which sounds like a great deal, along with the $25 Old Lady piano from SampleTekk.   Then came the Antares Vocal Express + i-lock combo for $50 along with Pro Tools 10 for $99 - just $25 more.  And maybe I might actually use PT for some stuff (PTLE 7.4 not so much).
 
And now there's a Komplete 9 crossgrade for $200 - and I just happened to get Kontakt 5 during the Christmas sale.
