You'll be pleased to know I've just ordered BFD3 - currently awaiting delivery from GAK.
My first new toy of 2014!!
Hurrah for progress

I know you weren't so keen on the new look but I think you'll find it easier to navigate especially with the new tabbed libraries which I think have made such a difference to the overall user experience.
When you have the drum tab showing you can click on a snare without committing to load and it will audition in real time which I find really useful. BFD2 never did this properly.
You say you're awaiting delivery, am I to take it that you ordered the usb stick and not the download ?
I was going to advise doing that, although my download and install was smooth as a babies backside quite a few people have found it to be rough as a badgers arse
That's like giving twaddle a 'legal high'.
It's like catnip strikinglyhandsome1
is there an upgrade path from BFD Eco to full BFD 3?
I don't quite understand why there's no upgrade path from Eco but you can still get an upgrade from Eco to BFD2 and then from 2 to 3. It's kind of worth it in the "value for money" sense as BFD2 gives you 10 very excellent kits with IMO a wider variety of sounds than BFD3 so you don't lose out completely but as you say, you already have plenty of drum apps. I would suggest getting used to Eco and maybe then get the demo of BFD3 to see if you think it offers enough to get your wallet out.
