Now that I think about it.  He probably just had a very narrow range of what he was looking for.  My guess--metal or punk.

I know what you mean Michael, but he was a guy on his own, maybe 67-68 years old, nice little brand new hatchback 'retired person' car. I generally get a feeling about people, and he was genuine, but obviously..a bit picky when it comes to evaluating music...




That is cool. In a way I can relate to him. I mean when it comes to genres I'm at a loss.
Many of them I don't play enough to remember and have to "refresh" when I try...like "Bossa vs Samba"...
