Although I don't quite agree with IK on this whole fiasco on ST, I joined this GB as I'm in dire needs of a guitar sim and this $99 offer was just too good for me to pass up (since my issue with Line6 being just being a dongle for plugins). I had been totally depending on POD Farm for all my tones, but with their Win8 drivers being flaky, I've now got a new friend. I've only had the free version of Amplitube3 (which I'd hardly used) and just got the full version of this with the Fender, Orange, and Ampeg as my freebies. I'm really impressed with all of them and these tones simply rock.....especially the Fender collection.
I've still only scratched the surface with A3 and there's just a ton of amps/combinations to keep me busy for a long time.
I don't have a Bass yet, but still got the Ampeg collection (planning for the future )......does anyone know of any presets that I could play my 6 string as a bass to get the low end tones?? (I ran into one Octa something? that did this, but don't know of any others.........).

Well, fortunately I haven't paid full price for anything. I paid $99 for Fender, $39.99 for Ampeg. I got A3, CSR and the Sampletank stuff with Total studio...for $87. I bought T-deluxe from a member here for $69. So I traded my extra T-racks deluxe (that came with total studio) for 4 Addictive drum adpaks.

Same with me Clint; I bought both Orange and Fender on sale at great prices.  Now I have picked up the rest for $99.  For anyone who doesn't have these Sims and is a guitar player, this is almost a no brainer.  These Sims are just outstanding, including the stomp boxes.

Now I am starting to demo the T Racks plugs and so far, I find them to be pretty darn good as well.  Demo'd the Brickwall Limiter yesterday and I felt it sounded better on that song than any of the other Limiters in my tool box.  I am hanging onto my Jam Points for possible use in T-Racks.

I  totally understand other folks issues with ST and don't discredit them being disgruntled at all.  I, however, have no use for ST and wouldn't buy it anyway.  Everything else I have used has been stellar......and I've bought when discounted....so how could I be unhappy.  I guess either being broke.....or stingy..... pays off sometimes.

Amplitube is my favorite amp sim, and I've tried them all.

In case anyone might be interested (re: simulating a bass using a guitar), some users have suggested using the Octaver pedal in Ampeg SVX.

I'll be checking this out tonight....

I didn't get a chance to check this out Larry (been doing some OT) and have just crashed when I got home....I'm very much interested in this as I don't have a Bass, and will try to spend some time on it this weekend. Have you had a chance to check out the Octaver?
