The 64 bit AAX was the biggest thing in this update, the rest were more Custom Shop and CPU related. Should perform using less resources on some machines.


I'm looking at the program but hanging back until I see some positive word about how well the AAX version is working.
 


There generally shouldn't be any big differences compared to the other versions.
Either way, share what you hear about the new ARC update.

One thing confuses me a little bit.

Windows® (32 and 64 bit)
  • Minimal: Intel® Pentium 4® 2.4 GHz or Intel® Core™ Duo or AMD Athlon™ 64, 1 GB of RAM, Windows® XP, Windows® Vista, Windows® 7 or Windows® 8.
  • Supported Plug-in formats: VST, RTAS, AAX (32-bit).
  • Requires ASIO Audio Hardware.
  • Requires 48kHz operation (only for measurements).


    • The 32 bit behind the AAX.  I use PT 11 64 bit.  We're discussing this in the DUC forums.  Can you clear that up?

    It is definitely 64-bit AAX now.  That was the main part of this latest update.  I'll submit a request to have that page taken care of.

    While you're at it, why don't you go ahead and put in a request to announce the upgrade price to ST3 for existing users...
