The forum censored the word sus-spish-ious since the middle syllable is a slur against an ethnic group.

How do we know that cclarry and the other posters don't work for NI?  They'd certainly have an interest in messing with a competitor.  Maybe NI offered them free software for posting here?

Honestly, I don't believe that, but it's as absurd as the accusations thrown back the other way.

Cool story bro....I have stated repeatedly that I love and use IK products (with the exception of iToys)

That being said, I'd work for NI in a heartbeat. I am also shallow enough to take free software form IK to turn the tide in their favor (hint, hint). The only caveat is that it better be 64-bit PC stuff and not for iPhones!

Since we're floating theories about the place...maybe I started that thought to plant the seed in IK's head to fork over some free ST3????

One thing's for sure, the professional marketing mouthpiece's will be out in force when(if?) ST3 belatedly makes it out. I mean, there's only so much room for a general purpose rompler. The libraries would have to be markedly better than the likes of Kontakt, et. al.

I don't care what it sounds like as long as it is 64-bit and plays all the stuff I already paid for like ST2 libraries, Miroslav & Sonic Synth....is that too much to ask?

Questions is: will they be charging you for a bunch of new libraries that you don't want?

I say this, because the the vast majority of the product's value is in the libraries. This means if you're paying more than a certain percentage of the full  (with libraries) price (~30%? - debatable?), you're getting a bad deal.

It's funny that NOW the IK reps come out...to deny being here...
after I call out that these "posters" may be IK reps...
If it wasn't you..how did you know about it???

I find that laughable...really...

but I know you'd rather see us leave so you won't accept even the civil and courteous message I posted above as it will never be enough.

Gawd,  this is what I'm talking about.  No disrespect to women,  but this is the kind of thing a woman would say.  boo hoo.  lol.

NOW...let me put you people in your place...

The reason I have this TIME to sit here is because I'm currently taking care of a dying MOTHER...
I had to quite my job to be here to take care of her... not that ANY of THAT Is ANY of your
business. When she's asleep...I'm here...and I also have ongoing classwork to do...

So take your sorry attitudes and foul mouth slurs and fly...

Buy IK all you want...I said that before....I WON'T... ....and I have LOT'S OF OTHERS that are not going to support
ST3 either....NOTHING that I've said ABOUT IK is false...

I don't really care who these people are....just seems real strange...that THEY and IK all of sudden
decided to "come out of nowhere"...sorry...from their busy music career "lives"...my mistake.

I've been just skimming this thread and don't really have a desire to buy ST3 at any price, but after reading these two interesting points, I'd pay around $20 for the new engine without any libraries to be able to play the old samples from STXL and Sonic Synth, which I paid about $500 for many years ago. There were some good samples in there. Otherwise, I'm content to just keep on using what I replaced it with.
