With respect to the “You Post Toooo Much” thread that is locked, why does Cakewalk choose to dump crap like that in the CH … the thread was crap … but I really take offense to the fact that “they” feel it is OK to unload garbage here!!!!!
 
The whole idea of having a dumping ground creates a really negative environment … so much so that somebody who I am assuming is a respected forumite thinks it’s OK to say this:

Well, I personally found the initial thread offensive but I also think comments like the one above are pretty mean spirited towards the folks who hang out in the Coffee House (good, honest, hard working folk) … but apparently in the Cake world, it is OK to think that way, and look at the members who hang out here as second class.
 
Cake really needs to reconsider the ongoing use of the CH as a landfill.

The fact that the mods stated that "this is a place to help each other out not tear each other down" AND then dumps it in the CH, seems counterproductive to me.
 
This thread (in question) that's been locked and then dumped here, shows a complete disregard for the CH.....AKA garbage dump. Meaning, here ya go CH, feel free to read this unproductive material that'll do no good to anyone.   
 
It's not like the folks in here "need to be taught a lesson" as "Don't post stuff like this".......on the contrary, this locked thread would do more productive service to the general public upstairs, rather than the respectful folks down here.  
 
 

As one of those that may be viewed as an "upstairs" peoples I thought it was rude of it getting dumped here as well. It should have simply been deleted.
 
I'm with ya and thanks for posting this. I was going to but didn't want to clutter up the CH with my pontifications on the matter as I am only an occasional visitor.
 
As far as SHS's comment... I think he was referencing some of the OPs other OT threads and not necessarily a slag against this place... but IDK.

I agree Beep......deleting would have been the right thing to do. Or, they should create a Hate Forum where all "Hate" material can be dumped.

We could call it the Dog House. Maybe they could even start a band like the CH has and call it the DHD (Dog House Derpers). I can think of a few candidates for such a place. Not many... but a few.

Yeah, absolutely no point in locking it then putting it here. Either delete it or lock it and leave it where it was. Funny how the real biatchfest stuff usually occurs upstairs yet it's the CH that gets the bad name.
