I thought about getting the Play 4 FX suite for $99 and the Fab 4 but I really don't need the FX suite.
 
　
You got a better price than I did.  For $99 I'd jump on it     :)
 
What struck me about the e-mail was the mention that EW is sending the library on a USB3 harddrive; mentioning how faster it was;
 
All my hds were USB2;  Since I do have USB3 connections on my computers, I purchased some new external USB3 and the speed difference is WAY faster.

 
I 'd still have to pay the $50 for FAB 4 but the $99 FX suite is the least expensive product they offer so the whole thing would cost anyone who already had an iLok $150.

Either that or Solo Violin @ $99...

You just get an Authorization Code.  You run their Authoriztion Wizard and it places the License on your Ilok once you've entered the Code.  You don't have to even use the Ilok Manager.  But you DO have to give them your Ilok login.  So that is how they make sure you aren't giving it away I assume.

I have some of the abbey road stuff , I use in reason.. challen piano / mellotron etc.
 
that n the fact it needs a dongle.. i have an elicenser.. if thats not good enough, forget it

Here's my story
I bought it from the EastWest website for $50 dollars, thought it was a great deal. They sent me downloads and Authorization code. Today went to use it and they declined the code. Looked at my account and they canceled the order. I have a receipt for the Fabfour, download and code. It is like I went to a store bought something and they came into my home and took it back. Just a few hours ago I received an email from them saying I should get my money back but I haven't received it as of yet. Never buying from EastWest again Sorry. 
I feel the company should at least honor their own receipt!

Strange , i'm dowloading as i write , i hope it will not happen ....to me also
 
Edit : i get for all the Fab four archive , a "bad archive error" when i try to unrar ...no issue with QL Brasss ....

2n EDIT :  authorise Fabfour : nothing on my ilok !!
Unable to authorise QL Brass : i get the erro message telling to call support ...

I TRIED, once, to attempt to receive some support with my Gold Pianos Library that kept spewing a cannot find sample error message on a Yamaha Piano.
I gave up I dont use that Piano in the library.. in fact I use NIs pianos , Alica Keys, Berlin Grand etc...
