Sort of...
I was part of the Fort Worth Choral Society's choir singing at Bass Performance Hall last Saturday night with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra.  The theme for the performace was "Science Fiction" and the symphony played several pieces from various sci fi movies and TV shows and we sang along with them on some songs (mostly "ooohs" and "ahs")

George Takei narrated some quotes from some shows (such as the intro to Star Trek..."to boldly go...")

I met him backstage - I just nodded and said "hello" and tried not to act like a rabid fan.  others in the choir got a picture with him, but I did not.

Well, we all know where rabid dogs end up. I think you showed great judgement.

I saw one in Amsterdam when I was there last year ... it was called The Torture Museum.

Beadle, that is cool!  A long time ago I met Chekov in a Hollywood night driving school (after getting a speeding ticket).  All we talked about was his being on the set for all those years.  Later, I say him in some of the sequels.  He was a very nice ordinary guy but you could not forget his Russian accent.

Fun stuff.
