Had to sleep on the porch for a couple weeks when the wife found out, but got them all.

Really elegant. Thought I'd ended my reverb search till Lexicon came up to compliment the tools.

Smart decision on my part was to leave the tent out on the cliff for a couple more weeks.

If I had to pick only one, it'd be Room, however I use VVV quite a bit as well.

Room is the all purpose one. I own it and it's easy to use. Vintage is good too I believe.

Thanks to all for your helpful responses.
I think Room is where I am heading.

I just rolled the dice and went with Vintage figuring I was a vintage kind of guy. I used it exclusively on my song that is currently in the songs forum and absolutely love this reverb. If Room is even better, I might have another reverb to pick up yet.

I like Room best, mostly for the same reasons as Bit.

BUT, I have two hardware reverb boxes (Lexicon PCM-90 and LXP-1) that I use constantly, and they do a pretty good job of emulating the idiosyncrasies one might expect. That said, I will eventually add Vintage to my collection. But my next addition will be Shimmer. I absolutely love it.

I should also confess that I use the UAD Plate 140 as my final glue reverb on almost every project... it's not officially part of the template yet, but it might as well be. I also use the UAD Lexicon 224, but I am still learning how to use it, It is a LOT more complex than I remember<G>, and often I just don't have the time to tweak.

The UAD Plate, on the other hand, is incapable of sounding bad. I'd argue that this one plug-in is reason enough to buy at least a Solo card<G>! I grew up using plates (and springs) and this plug-in is like an improved version of a physical plate. If that makes any sense.

Shimmer is $40 on KVR right now.

I've got all of them but Shimmer. You can't go wrong here in my opinion. Valhalla make great stuff.

you are a cruel man sir... my wallet is not amused... but I think I have a new reverb<G>!

Is "thanks" appropriate here?
